On Monday night, Kylos Brannon was nominated for a Helen Hayes Award for “Outstanding Media/Projection Design” for his work with Rorschach Theatre’s Night of the Living Dead. The Helen Hayes Awards are Washington, D.C.’s annual celebration of outstanding work on local stages. The award ceremony will be held on May 20.
Pallavi Kumar is a panelist for the upcoming AEJMC panel titled, “Methods and Modes in Student-Run Agencies: Integrative Learning, the CPRE Report, and SRAs” on February 2nd from 2 pm to 3 pm EST. This panel will discuss Student-Run Agencies with “special” formulation and Pallavi will present her work with SOC3. The panel is stacked: from a truly integrated model with tv, radio, and strat comm elements, to a firm dedicated to “enacting real change” in the field of communications, public schools, and private schools. Speakers will present a diverse subset of specialty firms that have emerged from the rest of the SRA pack so that others interested in this model can decide if specialization or collaboration is the right move for integrative learning with their SRA.
