Cristina da Luz ’24, writer, producer, and founder of 32mm Studios, is bringing her debut short film Maresia to life. Shot in Cape Verde alongside fellow Emerson alumni, the film is now in post-production and preparing for festival runs.

Ari Conte ’15, a Tony-nominated theater producer and creative strategist, recently returned to campus to lead an Emerson Master Class on arts entrepreneurship and career development. As a mentor, she encouraged students to embrace the power of the “in-person hello” while navigating the industry.

Aidan Leary ’22 and CR Thompson ’22 turned to classmates, mentors, and creative collaborators when making their debut feature, Monkeys Magic Merry Go Round. Their project highlights the power of the Emerson network in action.
