Salamon has been with the company since 1998 and is a second generation broadcaster and the son of Country Radio Hall of Famer Ed Salamon. He succeeds Dave Carwile, who was promoted last month to Division Pres. overseeing the company's Midwest and Southeast areas. |

Tres To Impress: Adams Radio Group WHTF & WQTL/Tallahassee, FL PD Tres "Twiggins" Wiggins has been promoted to OM of the four-station cluster, which includes Country WWOF, where he had been filling in as PD since the departure of former OM/PD Jason Taylor in July (CAT 7/15). Twiggins joined Adams as WHTF PD/afternoon co-host in 2021, and added PD duties at WQTL last year. “After an extensive search, it was clear that the best candidate to lead our group of stations and talented staffers was within our own ranks,” says Adams Pres./CEO Charlie Fritz. “Twiggins’ dedication to excellence brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.” Reach him here.

Festive All: With organizers citing "circumstances beyond our control," the Field & Stream Music Fest, set for Oct. 3-5 at Carolina Adventure World in Winnsboro, SC, has been cancelled. Among the more than 40 artists scheduled to perform were Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Riley Green and Bailey Zimmerman (CAT 1/8). Refunds are being issued. Church and Morgan Wallen partnered to buy the legacy outdoor brand last year (CAT 1/25/24).
Clay Walker headlines the Troubadour Festival, set for Nov. 15 in Celina, TX. The lineup also features Randall King, Braxton Keith, Cody Canada & The Departed and others. Tickets (9/5) here.
