Here are some Denton traffic changes happening around campus:
|
-
Due to the ongoing work on the TxDOT I-35 improvement project, Lot 20 is limited to three entry and exit points, located on the northeast, east and west sides of the lot (the south entrance/exit is closed). See the map to help plan your route.
Be sure to follow UNT Transit on Instagram for all parking updates.

If you're coming to Denton from I-35W, be aware that TxDOT has closed the northbound off-ramp for Oak Street (exit 85B), and it's expected to remain closed through early 2027. Instead, you'll need to exit to Bonnie Brae Street (exit 84).
- There will be intermittent on- and off-ramp closures on southbound I-35 between U.S. 380 (University Drive) and I-35W from 9 p.m. Thursday, July 2, to 5 a.m. Friday, July 3.
- A heads-up for those who work or drive along Bonnie Brae Street between Roselawn Drive and Airport Road: Southbound traffic has been switched to the southbound inside lane (the new left lane), and the outside lane is closed. A switch of the northbound traffic — to the northbound inside lane with the outside lane closed — is expected Monday, July 6.
