Save the Date: International Education Week

International Education Week (IEW) 2023, a national celebration of education exchange, is coming up! Mark your calendars for Nov. 13–18 for a full week of events that aim to promote a global perspective and highlight the diversity that strengthens our community. Events are open to students, faculty, and staff. The events of the week are designed to bring our community together in celebration of the different cultures, heritages, and experiences that make us USF. Calling All Students of International Diplomacy:
Participate in the Historic Student APEC 2023
Nov. 3–4

Inspired by the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Conference hosted by the U.S. Department of State, student organizers in the USF International Studies program are looking for international students who are from or connected to the 21 member states of APEC to debate the range of topics on the APEC agenda this year, and promote a better understanding and involvement of the role of APEC as a form of diplomacy in the 21st century. The theme of this year's conference is “Creating a Resilient and Sustainable Future for All” and the three main priorities are interconnected, innovative, and inclusive. Students who are interested in joining the conference should review this letter for more information and complete this Google Form to express their interest.

Goal-Setting Workshop
Oct. 19 | 11:50 a.m.–12:50 p.m.

The Learning Center is inviting you to attend the goal-setting academic skills coaching workshop to see if you are on the right path at this point of the semester. By attending the workshop, you'll learn how to create and achieve your S.M.A.R.T. goals, keep yourself on track, and be a more successful student throughout your college career.

Latín Horror Film Festival

Requesting a Document from ISSS?

If you are requesting an immigration document or letter from our office, remember that we request ten business days to process requests. Make sure you plan accordingly so you have enough time to receive your document before you need it. All ISSS requests should be submitted through the MyISSS student portal (click on requests on the left-hand menu). You can view our MyISSS Student Handbook for assistance with your submission.

Adviser Appointments and Workshops

Appointments can be made online. Please visit the ISSS website to schedule an appointment. Appointments are still booked in 15-minute increments. To schedule a workshop, select workshops from the first menu option in our scheduler. Students must complete an OPT workshop before applying for OPT.
