Dear Colleagues,
I am at once honored, humbled, and excited to be serving as your Interim Provost.
I look forward to connecting with many of you in the days and weeks ahead to discuss goals, priorities, and opportunities for our shared academic enterprise as we prepare for the start of fall term and a pivotal academic year.
Some of you are away for the summer or otherwise out of the office, so our connection may not come for some weeks yet, but I didn’t want to let another day go by without sharing my enthusiasm and heart for the work we have in front of us.
I am grateful to President Cudd for her trust, and I look forward to working alongside her and the rest of PSU’s leadership team to chart a strategic and successful path forward for Portland State. I am eager to involve our faculty, staff, academic professionals, graduate assistants, and students, along with PSU’s many valued community partners, in that process.
