Dean's Note
In academia, our work exploring, searching, developing, testing, and creating often happens incrementally behind the scenes—in labs, offices, and research sites. However, sometimes that work is so significant that it is acknowledged and celebrated publicly on a large scale. This month, I am proud to share that our faculty and alumni have received prestigious national recognitions for their research, discovery, and entrepreneurship across a range of fields. While not the reason we do our work, these acknowledgements remind us of the positive impact we are making on society by addressing the most pressing issues of our time.

My best,
Timothy P. McNamara
