Holiday Reminder: Ensure Your Pets are Safe and Comfortable this 4th of July
As the 4th of July approaches, County Animal Services would like to remind the community to take extra precautions to keep their pets safe during the festivities. Fireworks can be extremely stressful for animals, so we recommend keeping your pets indoors in a quiet, secure room to help reduce anxiety. Ensure all windows and doors are closed to prevent escape and consider playing calming music or white noise to drown out the sound of fireworks. Additionally, ensure your pets wear up-to-date ID tags and their microchip information is current, in case they do get out. By taking these simple steps, you can help ensure a safe and comfortable holiday for your beloved pets.
