Spring Break has come and gone and our students are back in class, ready for the final sprint to the end of the semester. As we move into this last part of the academic year, our faculty and staff will continue to create an atmosphere that nurtures both intellectual and personal development.

We consider ourselves to be partners with you in your student’s educational journey and in that realm, we share information throughout the year to help you navigate the ebbs and flows of higher education. To make sure we are providing the information you need when and how you need it, we’d love for you to fill out a short survey. This will only take a few minutes of your time and will help us design communications that are relevant and timely as we work to give you and your student the best possible experience with GVSU.

Thank you for all you do to support your students, and we look forward to seeing your feedback as we continue to empower students in their pursuits, professions, and purpose.

Sincerely,

Philomena V. Mantella, President
Grand Valley State University

The GVSU Military and Veterans Resource Center (MVRC) is excited to announce “Virtually Hug a GI Week” coming this month. This is an opportunity for you and your Laker to show appreciation for military service members. Yard signs featuring veteran faculty, staff, and military-connected students will be displayed on Grand Valley’s Allendale campus March 25-30. These signs, along with the MVRC website, will have a link for submitting messages of support online that will be featured on the Veterans Center website in early April.

If you’re interested in submitting a message, visit the MVRC website during the week of March 25 to virtually hug a GI. You can also use the hashtag #GVSUHugAGIWeek to participate on social media.
