UTA Volleyball finishes for the season
|
After earning the Western Athletic Conference regular season and tournament championship title, UTA’s volleyball team competed in the NCAA Tournament and was eliminated with a 3-0 loss against the University of Southern California Trojans.
"It was a remarkable season," said head coach J.T. Wenger. "This team did so many amazing things this year, and I'm so proud of them. Although we didn't get the result we wanted, I thought our team played incredibly hard, and I'm happy I got to spend this season with an amazing group of women."

The men’s basketball team will return to College Park Center Saturday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. to take on the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Stay after the game for player autographs and pictures with Santa. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items, which will be donated to Mission Arlington.

Medical humanities journal
|
Submit artwork, poems, short stories, short research papers, and music to Stimulus, a medical humanities journal. Faculty, staff, students, alumni, and Arlington residents are encouraged to submit to Stimulus. The deadline to submit is Saturday, Feb. 1.

CO-UF-PO-03 Joint Sponsorships for the Use of University Facilities Policy
This policy was updated as part of a routine five-year review. The title was changed from "Joint Sponsorships Policy." Language was added regarding how the use of facilities must be pursuant to a signed Facility Use Agreement for individuals who are not students, faculty, or staff; by groups that are not registered students, faculty, or staff organizations; or by associations or corporations for programs or activities.
HR-B-PO-10 Employee Dependent Scholarship Policy
This new policy was put in place at the request of the president. It creates a new benefit for UTA employees and allows $500 per semester scholarships for UTA employee dependents pursuing a bachelor's degree.
HR-E-PR-21 Student Employment Procedure
Updates were made to this procedure to reflect current processes for departments, including posting jobs, updating job code information, closing jobs, completing criminal background checks, and onboarding. In addition, procedures involving students without social security numbers were added. Pay ranges and job codes were updated throughout. Finally, termination/resignation procedures were updated.
HR-SPE-PO-01 Annual Performance Evaluations
References of non-tenure track were changed to academic professional track throughout the policy.
