UTA hires new dean of College of Education and new VP for enrollment management

UTA has selected Tim Jacobbe as the next dean of the College of Education and Luisa M. Havens Gerardo as its next vice president for enrollment management.

UTA wins noise control engineering award

For the fourth time in five years, UTA students won the Leo Beranek Student Medal for Excellence in the Study of Noise Control from the Institute of Noise Control Engineering USA.

CMAS celebrates anniversary

KERA News highlighted UTA's mariachi group, Mariachi Los Jinetes. UTA's Center for Mexican American Studies, which was founded 30 years ago, supports the mariachi band along with UTA research on Latino issues.

State Employee Charitable Campaign

UTA employees have donated $5,095 to the State Employee Charitable Campaign at UTA. This annual drive helps provide support to more than 1,000 participating charities. Friday, Oct. 20 is the last day to donate.

Biologics Outreach Session

The U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Agency will conduct a biologics outreach session with UTA Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. The presentation will consist of information regarding importing and exporting biologics shipments. Register to attend.

In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Campus Recreation and Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention will host a resource fair Wednesday, Oct. 25, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in Brazos Park.
