Make Your House Easy to Spot in an Emergency

Make Your House Easy to Spot in an Emergency

In an emergency, seconds matter. That’s why Orange County Emergency Services is urging all residents to ensure their home address is clearly visible and easy to locate from the road.

Proper address signage can save lives by allowing emergency responders — including paramedics, firefighters, and police — to reach you as quickly as possible when every moment counts.

Hillsborough Second Circulator Kickoff

On Tuesday, June 24, Orange County Public Transportation held a kickoff and ribbon cutting to celebrate the improved Hillsborough Circulator. The existing single fixed route will now split into two distinct fixed routes, reducing overall travel times and improving connectivity. Service frequency will be improved from 60 to 45 minutes.

A new stop will be added to directly serve the Orange County Health Department and the Whitted Building (both located at 300 W. Tryon Street, Hillsborough). This change improves access to public health services and county administration for residents.
The Orange County Main Library (137 W. Margaret Lane, Hillsborough) will now function as a designated transfer point.
