Taking The Falls: Former Midwest KTWB/Sioux Falls, SD afternoon host Robbie Owens will return to the station Sept. 28 in the same capacity. Owens spent 10 years at KTWB before moving on to KOLC/Reno, NV, where he was PD/morning host. He will succeed Robert Hawk, who handled afternoons for the past two-plus years before moving to Audacy Top 40 WKRZ/Scranton as morning show co-host.

Ells Bells: Ella Langley leads the 2026 CMA Award nominations, as reported via Breaking News. Among her nine nominations is Entertainer of the Year, a category that also includes Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton and host Lainey Wilson. Miranda Lambert follows Langley with seven nominations; Kacey Musgraves and Ben West with five; Johnson, Stapleton and Stephen Wilson Jr. with four; and Dave Clauss, Combs and Wilson received three.
