College of Pharmacy Dean Candidate Presentation – Dr. Peter Swaan

The search committee for the next UTHSC College of Pharmacy Dean has recommended Dr. Peter Swaan as a finalist. He will be on the Memphis campus today, Thursday, June 16, 1:00 – 2:00 pm CDT in Room 101 of the Pharmacy Building to make a presentation on "Current Challenges and Opportunities for Leading Schools of Pharmacy: Vision for Our Future.” The campus community is invited to join the presentation. Light refreshments will be served.

 

For those who cannot attend the in-person presentation, please watch the live feed online via Zoom. Registration is required to watch online.

Tennessee Election Forum at UTHSC Tonight!

The UT System has partnered with the USA TODAY Network Tennessee to host six forums across the state for the 2022 election. A forum at UTHSC is set for tonight, June 16, from 7–8:30 pm CDT, in the Schreier Auditorium of the Student-Alumni Center. Gubernatorial candidates and congressional candidates for District 9 have been invited to participate. Admission is free, but tickets are required, and space is limited.

Two Weeks Left to Enroll in the Sick Leave Bank

Take the opportunity to protect your income by enrolling in the Sick Leave Bank through June 30. The Sick Leave Bank may provide paid leave to bank members who have exhausted their own paid leave due to a personal illness or injury.

Faculty, Staff, Students Must Complete Required Compliance Trainings by June 30

 

All faculty and staff are required to complete eight different compliance trainings by June 30. Read here for more information about how to access these trainings.

 

Students and residents must complete the UTHSC 2022 HIPAA Training by June 30 to maintain compliance with federal regulations and UT System policies. Failure to complete by the deadline could result in suspension of UT NetID, badge, and network access.

Outside Interest Disclosure Form Due by June 30

 

All UTHSC employees with active payroll status are required to complete an Outside Interest Disclosure (OID) Form for fiscal year 2022. The deadline for completing the OID form is June 30. However, if you filled out an OID form on July 1, 2021 or after, you do not need to fill out a new form, unless something has changed.
