Focus on Career Development

In addition to the regularly scheduled career drop-ins at the International Student Center (Wednesdays, 2-4pm, see Upcoming section below), which are a great way to connect with career center staff and get more info on career resources, job search, resumé, cover letters, interviewing, and more, you are encouraged to attend the the Spring 2023 Career Fairs, February 15-28.

Also, at 2:30 pm TODAY, Friday, February 10 in Farmer School of Business, Taylor Auditorium (room 1000), join leaders from Intel, who are building semiconductor and computer chip production operations in Ohio, and will be sharing their vision about student internships and workforce needs.

Bus Trip for Shopping and Dining at Kenwood Mall on Saturday, February 18
Visit a premier shopping destination to get styled and prepped for the spring season! Join ISSS on a bus trip to Kenwood Towne Centre for a day of shopping and dining. Cost for this trip is $6. 11am - 4pm on Sat., Feb. 18.
Please note this is Presidents' Day Weekend.

ISSS is looking for International Peer Orientation Leaders (iPOLs) to assist in welcoming new international students to our community. Fall 2023 iPOLs must be available August 14-27.
iPOL candidate group interviews will take place March 2 and 3.

Become a Global Ambassador
Global Ambassadors are undergraduate international students who assist International Admissions with recruiting and supporting international students who are applying for Miami University as their future school.
International Admissions is looking for Spring 2023 Ambassadors who want to positively impact incoming international students and their experience applying and confirming enrollment at Miami.
Ambassador tasks include speaking with students, attending in person and virtual panels, and supporting International Admissions social media.
