If you own your home and are having trouble paying this year’s property tax bill, the Orange County Housing Department may be able to help. Each year, the Housing Department collects applications from Orange County residents to help pay for the current year's tax bill.

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month, a national campaign to emphasize the importance of having a library card. To spread awareness about the importance of the public library and the free resources that come with having a library card, the Orange County Public Library has a month of exciting events and giveaways planned throughout the month of September.

Nominate a Direct Care Worker for a SHARP Award by October 4
|
The Orange County Dept. on Aging is accepting nominations for the 2024 Direct Care Worker Awards. This event is in honor of Direct Care Workers (nurse aides, personal care aides, companion caregivers, etc.) who affect their clients’ lives on a daily basis and make a difference in the Orange County community. To be eligible, direct care workers must have served clients in Orange County within the past year. Each person may be nominated in two categories. Nominees must have provided direct care to clients and have at least six consecutive months of service in the past year.
