Follow the Maverick basketball teams as they compete in their conference and national tournaments

It's basketball season in Maverick Country! The No. 5 Lady Mavericks have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tournament and will take on No. 4 Utah Tech today, Thursday, March 14, at 2 p.m. The No. 3 Mavericks will play in the WAC quarterfinals today at 10:30 p.m. against No. 6 Stephen F. Austin. Watch the Mavs score their way to victory on ESPN+.
The Lady Movin’ Mavs finished second at the 2024 NWBA Women’s Intercollegiate Nationals, with multiple players receiving individual honors. The No. 6 Movin' Mavs will face No. 11 Eastern Washington University at 10 a.m. today. Streaming is available here.

Editor in Chief for IEEE Sensors Journal

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Sensors Journal has appointed Zeynep Çelik, a Distinguished Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department, as editor in chief. Dr. Çelik rose through the ranks of the publication for about 15 years, serving as an associate editor, topical editor, and associate editor in chief before assuming her current role.

To improve security, the TimeClock Plus (TCP) mobile app was recently updated. The updates limit access for some mobile devices. If your mobile device is jailbroken, rooted, or in “dev” mode, you will no longer be able to access the TCP mobile app with that mobile device. Otherwise, you should notice no changes.

Students graduating this semester who take the 15-minute Exit Survey will have a huge impact on UTA's future. Students will receive an email with the link to the survey. The Exit Surveys provide data on overall student satisfaction with the services and opportunities provided by UTA, satisfaction with their colleges and programs, and thoughts on how those can be improved. The survey will be available until Friday, May 31.
