Every year, the UNT System Board of Regents and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) search for a student representative to serve on their respective boards. Attention undergrad and grad students! Consider applying for the Ricco Ethics Scholarship to explore ethical questions within your field. The scholarship awards a $5,000 first-place prize for each category, with a potential second-place prize for undergraduates. Apply by submitting a 1,000-word essay on the chosen case study by Monday, Dec. 1. Note: Students who will graduate before the Fall 2026 semester are not eligible to apply. 
Check the eligibility requirements and guidelines to learn more. Winners will be notified in early Spring 2026.
