New Public Art Opportunity in Salt Lake County

We are excited to announce a new public art opportunity for our program! We are seeking qualifications from artists to create artwork(s) for the upcoming Convergence Hall Innovation Campus building.

Convergence Hall will be part of The Point Project, an urban development initiative converting 600 acres of state-owned land into a transformative Innovation Community. This new campus honors Utah’s proud legacy of invention, while pushing forward into an expansive future where challenges become opportunities. The Committee is interested in interior or exterior artwork that embodies the idea of “convergence,” visualizing overlapping concepts of innovation and collaboration. Deadline to apply: June 2.

Ribbon Cutting at Southern Utah University

We were delighted to attend the ribbon cutting for the Joe and Beverly Burgess Family Business Center at Southern Utah University. As a response to the rapidly growing student population at the school, the center offers increased access to collaboration and mentorship opportunities. Along with the new facility, we’re excited to announce the completion of Heath Satow’s sculpture, “The Seed.”

“The Seed” reflects the growth and transformation that occurs during a student’s time at SUU. Like the humble beginnings of a seed, students arrive with promise and are shaped into future leaders and innovators through opportunities provided by the business center.

A big congratulations to the artist and all who were involved in bringing this project to fruition!
