Photo Tip: Outside assignments |
West Michigan's weather is (finally) nicer. Get out there and take campus photos for your website or newsletter.
When scheduling outdoor photo assignments or portraits, it’s always a good idea to keep in mind when the sun is setting or rising for optimal light.
The hour before sunset or the hour after sunrise is known as "Golden Hour or Magic Hour," when the light is softer, warmer and presents longer shadows. This Sunrise/Sunset Calculator is very helpful.
