UTA announces new clinical research facility
|
UTA will build a $6.2 million Clinical Research Imaging Center on its main campus. Featuring a new 3-Tesla magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, the new center will be led by Michael D. Nelson, associate professor of kinesiology. Currently, UTA faculty, staff, and students needing an MRI for research must travel to UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

This new policy provides guidelines to help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for the fans, students, and visitors attending tailgating events. Tailgating at UTA is for personal or organizational entertainment and non-commercial purposes only. Permitted locations; permitted times; student organizations and responsibilities; alcohol and drugs; fire and life safety; propane grills and cylinders; vehicles and roadways; tents and awnings; facilities and generators; signage, banners, and solicitation; disciplinary actions; and damages are addressed in this policy.
RA-PO-11 Research Space Allocation Policy
This new policy allocates space for the research priorities of UTA. It includes criteria for the allocation of research space by the campus to promote optimum utilization of space in existing, renovated, and new facilities. In addition, it provides the decision-making structure and criteria utilized in allocating research space. This policy applies to all school, college, and unit research space that is owned and/or managed by UTA, both on and off campus.
