Winter Commencement to return, hosted in new campus event center |
Sacramento State has announced the resumption of Winter Commencement ceremonies, to take place this December in the new on-campus event center in The WELL.
The ceremonies, last held in 2017, will celebrate fall semester graduates. The University will also hold a special ceremony for students whose in-person graduations were canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
President Luke Wood said the return of Winter Commencement and the ceremony for pandemic-era graduates are “part of our commitment to an exceptional student experience at Sacramento State.”
“We look forward to making mid-year Commencement a special occasion that graduates will cherish,” he said.
