Each of you plays a vital role in positively impacting our students’ college experience, whether you work behind the scenes or on the ground. Our team’s next leader will be integral to supporting you and our Division’s commitment to always put students first.
We wanted to share with you that work has been underway to select the next Vice President to lead the Division of Student Affairs. President Hartzell appointed us as the chairs of the search committee last fall along with the following members:
Adam Biggs — Deputy Vice President for Legal Affairs
Katie Brock — Deputy Vice President and Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Business Strategies
John Dalton — Associate Vice President for Investigation and Adjudication, University Risk and Compliance Services
Chandler Eby — Student, College of Natural Sciences, Texas Panhellenic Council President
Charles Enriquez — Assistant Dean for Academic Services and Student Affairs, McCombs School of Business
Grace Kelly — Student, College of Liberal Arts, College of Natural Sciences, Student Government President
Rich Reddick — Dean, Undergraduate College
The University also hired a national search firm, Spencer Stuart, to assist us in finding a candidate who meets our unique needs and will have a lasting impact. Spencer Stuart has been working with a cross section of the campus community, including students, faculty and staff, to help develop position specifications and search materials. As a result of our work, the job posting is now available.
Please encourage qualified individuals that you know to apply.
Sincerely,
ALLAN COLE Dean, Steve Hicks School of Social Work
THOMAS W. DISON Interim Vice President for Student Affairs
