Save the date for Family Weekend 2023 on campus Oct. 13–15

Join us on campus during our historic Sesquicentennial year. Make plans to come early as information sessions, panels and open houses begin on Friday, Oct. 13. Help us cheer on our 'Dores when they play Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 14.
Registration will open Aug. 22. Be on the lookout for a schedule of events coming soon.

BVU Career Accelerator Program celebrates inaugural semester 

The Black Vanderbilt University Career Accelerator Program recently concluded its inaugural semester, and 12 participating students were recognized at a celebration dinner. Black Vanderbilt alumni envisioned and partnered with the Career Center to develop and present the program, which aims to empower Black students in their career journeys.

Vanderbilt senior Savannah Childress pursues passion to eliminate food injustice and promote sustainability through Immersion Vanderbilt

The Class of 2023 is the first graduating class that was required to complete an Immersion Vanderbilt project. Each of these students has engaged in hands-on training and self-discovery, and they've brought value to the community in the process.

Vanderbilt men's baseball wins 2023 SEC Tournament championship 

On May 28, Vanderbilt won the 2023 SEC Tournament championship with a 10-4 victory over Texas A&M. The Commodores are tournament champs for the fourth time in program history, third under head coach Tim Corbin. 
Vanderbilt fell 2-1 to Xavier in an elimination game on June 4 ending the Commodores’ season in the regional round of the 2023 NCAA Baseball Championship.
