This Week's Focus: Holiday Week Tips
|
| |
|
Here are a couple of reminders to keep yourself safe at the resort:
|
| |
|
-
Take care of yourself – Ensure you get plenty of rest, hydrate, and wear sunscreen.
- Changing snow surfaces—Expect changing conditions with snow in the forecast. Take a deliberate and focused approach to each turn. Route selection and appropriate terrain are other important considerations.
- Slips, trips, falls: Changing conditions—Slow down and focus on tasks. Traction Devices make a difference.
- Collisions—Keep your head on a swivel. Stop behind signs and baffles for more security. Address guests' behavior that is not in line with our core values.
- Jumping off things on skis/snowboards – When skiing on the clock, you must keep your skis on the ground, with no side hits or skiing in unknown terrain.
