- 6:00 p.m. Opening Ceremony in the 📍Oak Grove. This will include chalking, sign-making, and guest speakers. Free TBTN shirts will be available while supplies last.

7:00 p.m. TBTN March (leaving from the 📍Oak Grove and concluding at the 📍HUB). Please arrive at the Oak Grove by 6:30 p.m. for directions before the march begins.

7:30 p.m. Survivor Support Reception and Speak-Out in the 📍HUB Ohio Room. If you are planning to attend the Speak-Out, please show respect for the courageous individuals choosing to share their stories. This will be a closed-door event. Please arrive promptly so as not to take attention away from the speakers.

✒️Business Writing Credential at the Writing Center |
Did you know you can earn a Business Writing Credential through the Kathleen Jones White Writing Center? By attending select Wednesday Workshops—held in 📍210 Stabley Library and on Zoom at 7:00 p.m.—you’ll develop real-world professional writing skills while building a credential you can add to your résumé.
There is still time to earn the full certificate in April by attending the following Wednesday Workshops and completing a related tutorial with a KJWWC writing tutor:

Research Appreciation Week spotlights the spirit of innovation and collaboration shared across all disciplines and recognizes the contributions that IUP’s original research and scholarship make to the region and the world.
Research Appreciation Week, held April 6–10, promises a full schedule of events showcasing the outstanding research done throughout the year by our faculty and students. Among the highlighted events is the IUP Scholars Forum, which offers our undergraduate and graduate students the chance to present their research or performances.

| 🧢IUP Baseball vs. Slippery Rock |
IUP Baseball will host the first two games of a crucial four-game PSAC series against Slippery Rock on Friday, April 3, at 📍Owen J. Dougherty Field. The teams rank 4th and 5th in the PSAC West, respectively. The first pitch will be thrown at 1:00 p.m., with the second game starting shortly after the first game ends. Games three and four will be held at Slippery Rock on Saturday, April 4, with the first pitch going out at 1:00 p.m. Talons Up!

SGA will host its annual Town Hall on Tuesday, April 7, at 6:00 p.m. in 📍Leonard Hall, 126. This is a great time to meet SGA members, including those running in the upcoming presidential election and other future student body representatives.

Join Ándale on Wednesday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. in 📍Leonard Hall, 114, for the opportunity to “travel around the world.” The event will feature students from various countries who will share learning experiences about their languages and cultures.

Join the Haven Project on Tuesday, April 7, from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. to create a visual display across the 📍Oak Grove in preparation for Take Back the Night. Come and chalk facts, statistics, resources, and messages of support for survivors of sexual violence. All materials will be provided.

April 6–10 is Thank a Donor Week, and you’re invited to help show appreciation to the generous donors who support our campus and make a real difference in students’ lives. Throughout the week, students can stop by designated pop-up campus locations (📍Stapleton Library, 📍HUB Fitness Center, and 📍Jane Leonard Hall) to write a handwritten thank‑you note or take part in the postcard design contest (submissions due between April 6 and April 10).
As a bonus, participating students will be entered to win prizes, including a $150 Amazon gift card for the top postcard design, a $75 Amazon gift card for the best written message, and an IUP gift basket for another standout entry. Plus, stop by the 📍HUB on Tuesday for free Dippin’ Dots, while supplies last.
