Hi Ski & Snowboard School Pros, 

We’re excited to announce the February Lesson Connect update and introduce a new feature in Lesson Connect designed to help you deliver clearer, more personalized feedback to your students: Artificial Intelligence (AI)‑Supported Instructor Notes. This tool makes your end‑of‑day summaries faster, easier, and more consistent—while still giving you full control over the final message your guests receive. Please update your Lesson Connect application to Version 1.0.11 via the Microsoft Intune Company Portal to access these exciting new enhancements. 

New Feature: AI-Supported Instructor Notes 

  • Personalized lesson notes are generated for each student: Lesson Connect can now create an individualized note for every student using the information you’ve already added during the lesson. 
  • AI notes are based on lesson level + selected skills, reflecting: 
    • The lesson level you built 
    • The skills you marked as In Progress or Complete – this ensures the message is aligned with what the student actually worked on 
    • Skills must be reviewed before generating the note 

Here’s how the new AI feature works: 

  •  To trigger the AI note, you’ll first:  
  1. Complete your Skill Review for the student 
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the Skill Review page and click on the “AI-Note” field 
  3. Then tap Generate Note 
    1. You can regenerate once 
    2. If you want a slightly different version of the note, you can regenerate the AI note one time. 
    3. You can edit the note manually 
  4. Customize the note to match your voice and reflect the lesson. 
    1. You can edit the text directly 
    2. Edits do not carry over if you regenerate or cancel—regeneration replaces the previous version completely 
    3. Make sure you save your changes by clicking “save” before navigating away 
  • Save and submit and the note will deliver to the student or parent/guardian in the My Epic App with the end-of-lesson summary

Supervisors can review, edit, and resend

  •  Photo Enhancements & Updates 
    • Ability to retake the Student ID photo 
    • Ability to take and tag students in photos directly from the student profile 
    • Inability to take & tag photos of students who have “opted out” of photos 
    • Photo gallery enhancements 
      • Photo gallery will show “submitted” and “unsubmitted” photos to Ski & Ride School in My Epic 
      • Photo handling when offline 
    • 20+ Additional Enhancement and Bug Tickets 
      • Enhancements to the SSRS Class History Report 
      • Ability to apply filter to instructor search when transferring students 
      • Search & filter optimization
