Google's antitrust ruling |
A federal judge ruled that Google violated antitrust laws by using exclusive deals to maintain its search dominance, but didn't order a breakup that the Department of Justice sought. Instead, Google must share parts of its search and ad systems with competitors and avoid future default-search exclusivity. Michael Bennett, associate vice chancellor for data science and artificial intelligence strategy, can discuss the significance of the ruling and what it means for other tech and artificial intelligence companies, as well as the competitive field of AI search.

Importance of health care simulation-based education |
The week of Sept. 15 marks Healthcare Simulation Week, an annual celebration dedicated to raising awareness about the vital role of simulation-based education and training in improving health care delivery's safety, effectiveness and efficiency. UI Health, the academic health enterprise at UIC, boasts several state-of-the-art simulation labs and experts available to address related topics with the media.
