Legacy Grandchildren These are not Santa's elves. They are the grandchildren of some very proud grandparents, Greg McCulla '78 and Barb Kniff-McCulla of Pella, dressed appropriately in red and white. From youngest to oldest they are: Finley Melhus, Lyvia Pringle, Max Walsh, Drew Johnson, Gwyneth Walsh, Saige Pringle, Katy Johnson, Emmersen Melhus, Jack Johnson, Avree Melhus and Kaiya Pringle. Children of our alums–legacy children–receive gifts from Central College every five years during the month of their birthday–from birth through high school. If your child is not benefiting, register them with us today by sending an email request to alumni@central.edu. Are you a proud parent/grandparent of a Central College Legacy? Please consider sharing pictures with us at alumni@central.edu.

| Reunion Once upon a time, there were four young women who became friends at Central College. After graduation and marriage, Ann Hackfort Danner '98 of West Des Moines; Jaime Rumpp Fageroos '98 of Urbandale; Jen Sporrer McGee '98 of Perry and Laura Hendricks Vannorsdel '98 of Long Grove, found their busy schedules made it difficult to get together. Then in 2000, they invited husbands Eric, Victor, John '96 and Greg to join them on a camping trip. Since then, the destinations of the traveling tradition and their families have expanded. They are planning their 19th trip this summer, but will return in time for the McGee's to drop their daughter Katelyn off at Central to begin her freshman year. Read more.
