IFA 2027 Preferred Realtor® Application Now Open |
Realtors® who work with Iowa Finance Authority (IFA) homeownership programs are invited to apply for IFA's 2027 Preferred Realtor® designation. Applications are now open and must be submitted by July 1, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
These designations distinguish your expertise, amplify your visibility to Iowa homebuyers, and offer marketing and partnership benefits through IFA.

Preferred partners are held to an elevated standard and are expected to embody a high level of quality, consistency, responsiveness, and compliance. The Preferred designation signifies more than participation - it reflects leadership. Preferred Realtors® are expected to model best practices, uphold program standards with consistency, and demonstrate a clear commitment to program expectations while delivering a reliable, high‑quality experience for borrowers.

- Realtor® must have a minimum of three current and consecutive years of experience actively promoting and closing IFA loans (Please note: “current” is defined as having done so within the last six months for FirstHome and/or Homes for Iowans loans).
- Commitment to maintaining IFA’s standards of excellence, professionalism, and integrity.

Realtors® interested in obtaining the IFA Preferred Realtor® designation must register for and attend the IFA Homeownership Programs and Preferred Lender and Realtor® Training on Thursday, Sept. 10.
To be eligible for the designation, the application must be submitted by July 1 and approved as eligible pending completion of the required training.
