Proper Router Placement
As your WiFi signal travels from your router to your device, the type of material the signal has to pass through can weaken the signal (called signal attenuation). This could affect the way your device performs. Materials like wood, drywall and glass have low attenuation rates. Bricks and cinderblocks fall in the middle, followed by stucco and concrete, with tinted or low-energy glass and metal having the highest attenuation rates.
