Are you graduating this December? If so, your deadline to apply for graduation to be included in the commencement program is this Thursday, Oct. 17. Apply for graduation through your WINS account.

Students, registration for the spring 2025 semester is quickly approaching. Holds placed on your account by various departments on campus may impact your registration. Drop in this Monday-Friday, Oct. 14-18, at One Stop, located in room 129 of the University Center, to check your holds with our One Stop staff. Contact onestop@uww.edu for more information.

Rock Majors Exploration Week is here!

All UW-Whitewater at Rock County students are encouraged to participate in sessions and a two-day majors fair to explore majors and career possibilities this Monday, Oct. 14, through Thursday, Oct. 17. Interested in a career in occupational safety, a profession in high demand? Engage with approximately 60 employers to learn about internships and full-time job opportunities this Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the University Center Hamilton Room.

A total of 14 students at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater serve on the school's 2024 Homecoming Steering Committee. Programming will be held October 27-November 2 in Whitewater.

A total of 175 students were admitted to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater's professional education program as part of their journey toward entering the workforce as an educator.

Juried Student Art Exhibition now open 

UW-Whitewater holds an annual showcase of student art, the Juried Student Art Exhibition, at the Crossman Gallery in the Greenhill Center of the Arts. This year’s showcase runs Monday through Thursday between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. until October 24. The event is free and open to the public. Read more »

Curricular Innovation Conference: “AI in the Workplace”

The annual UW-Whitewater Curricular Innovation Conference is set for Friday, Nov. 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. in room 164 of the University Center. This year’s conference will focus on generative AI. UW-Whitewater strives to foster curricular innovation by providing opportunities for collaboration, dialogue, and co-implementation of cutting-edge curriculum. Read more »
