Dear Parents,

We recently experienced a mechanical failure with our HVAC system affecting our School Kitchen, Hanneman Hall, and the Table Storage Closet. This created very high humidity which in turn provided the perfect environment for mold growth.

We take the safety of our students very seriously. Outside testing has been completed and we are working with an outside remediation company for clean-up of the areas affected. We are working with the Douglas County Health Department and the Douglas County Air Quality Division as well. All areas of the school have been tested and the only areas impacted are the School Kitchen, Hanneman Hall and the Table Storage Closet.

Unfortunately these areas will not be usable during this remediation for the next 2 to 3 weeks.  There will be temporary scheduling changes/relocations of events including school lunch, ASC and sports practices. You will be notified separately on changes affecting you.

ALL students need to bring sack lunches from home until this is rectified. There will be no milk, juice or water bottles available.

While this is very disruptive, we want to make sure all students and families are in a safe environment. Thank you for your understanding and support.
