Dear Eagle Nation:
With the current semester coming to an end, it's time to celebrate. If you are facing challenges preventing you from registering, please contact Dr. Stephan Moore, VP. for EMSA at stmoore@coppin.edu or (410) 951-3933. I need all students to begin preparing for the upcoming semester by registering for courses.
Priority registration for Spring 2024 classes for all military veterans began on October 30. Registration for undergraduates with senior standing (90 or more credits) began October 31. Registration for continuing undergraduate students with 60-89 credits opened, November 6.
The registration schedule for other continuing students is listed, below:
- November 9- undergraduates with 30 – 59 credits
- November 13- undergraduates with up to 29 credits

Coppin State Basketball Season Officially Begins
I appreciate Eagle Nation for coming out to support our Lady Eagles on Monday night. Let’s do it again as our Coppin State Women’s Basketball will host Campbell University, Thursday, November 9, at 7 p.m. in the PEC.

As Veterans Day approaches, I am filled with gratitude and respect for the brave men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces. As a veteran, who proudly served our nation, I am grateful for the life changing experience the U.S. Army provided me. This special day provides an opportunity for us to come together as a community and honor our veterans for their sacrifice and service.

It's Recruitment Season!
Coppin State will host several events during November and December in Maryland and the surrounding states. These events will offer prospective students a convenient and interactive way to learn about everything Coppin has to offer. The students will have the opportunity to benefit from onsite admissions and scholarship interviews while engaging with current students, alumni, faculty, and staff.

As Maryland's number one HBCU nursing program, Coppin State has successfully retained accreditation for its baccalaureate, masters, and advanced practice FNP Certificate programs by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, for the next 10 years. The reaccreditation review ensures the integrity and innovation of the program, for 50 years Coppin’s Nursing program has been transforming and saving lives.

The Chronicle of Higher Eduation newsletter featured President Anthony Jenkins, Ph.D. for Coppin State University's remarkable enrollment growth. President Jenkins shared five enrollment lessons for instituional leaders.

PIPELINE Returns to Coppin State

Support the Coppin Repertory Theatre's production of PIPELINE by Dominique Morisseau in the James Weldon Johnson Building. The show will only run this weekend.

HBCU Pitch Fest at Coppin State University

Join the College of Business students as they participate in the Emerge HBCU Pitch Fest on November 13 at 9 a.m. in the College of Business Room 002. Students will pitch their business ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win up to $2,500.
