Dear Neighbors,
There’s a familiar mix of activity around TCU in the weeks ahead. The Horned Frogs will host BYU, Landman will return to campus for filming, and progress on student housing will become more visible as tower cranes begin to come down. Here’s what our neighbors can expect. Please share with your respective residents and neighborhood associations.

TCU vs BYU | Saturday at 6 p.m.
The Horned Frogs return to Amon G. Carter Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 3, for a 6 p.m. kickoff against BYU. We’re excited to welcome fans back to campus and appreciate our neighbors’ patience as we host another busy game day. TCU will also celebrate its 59th Hall of Fame Class during the game.
What neighbors should know:

- Game week preparations: Band rehearsals, sound checks and other preparations will take place leading into Saturday.

Parking and traffic: Parking lots will open five hours before kickoff, at 1 p.m., and close 90 minutes after the game. Stadium Drive, between North Bellaire Drive and West Cantey Street, will close at 11 a.m. and remain closed until 30 minutes after the game ends. Tailgating must conclude by 11 p.m. under city ordinance.
- Flyover: An F-16 flyover is planned as part of the game day experience.*

Fireworks: Fireworks will be especially noticeable following Horned Frog touchdowns and may also occur during pregame activities, halftime and after the game.
- Drone show: A drone show is planned as part of half-time entertainment.*

New stadium lighting: The new LED lighting system, with color-changing effects and light shows during the game, are new to game day experience this season. Read more.

Landman Returns to TCU | Oct. 6-7
Cameras will roll on campus again when Landman returns to TCU for filming. During previous visits, TCU students worked as extras and gained hands-on experience with the production’s camera and wardrobe teams. Read more about their experience.
What neighbors should know:

- Filming dates: Production is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 6, and Wednesday, Oct. 7.
- Production activity: Neighbors may see large film trucks, staging areas and crews working on and around campus throughout the week of Oct. 5.

Road access: Portions of Bellaire Drive North may be restricted during this time.

We appreciate our neighbors’ patience as the production returns to campus and gives TCU students another opportunity to see the film industry at work.

TCU’s on-campus student housing projects are taking shape, and neighbors will soon see tower cranes begin to come down. The latest update covers progress at The Morado on Berry, too, with all projects on track for fall 2027.
