Reporting Crosswalk Retirement and New Reporting Dashboard Coming 

As of March 2026, the reporting crosswalk on the Launch website has been officially retired and will no longer be maintained or updated. The crosswalk will remain available for reference until July 1, 2026, after which it will be removed. If you find the crosswalk helpful, please print or save a copy for your records.  

In addition, the project team is working to improve transparency around reports that are in progress. A dashboard displaying this information is being developed within the Workday Support Portal, with a community release targeted for this summer. 

 

Easily See All Reports You Can Run in Workday    

Did you know you can now quickly see every report currently available to you in Workday? By running the "All Reports I Can Run" report, you’ll get a complete list of all reports you have permission to access. This makes it easier than ever to find the reports you need without searching individually.  

Simply search for "All Reports I Can Run" in the Workday search bar to get started!

  • End Student Job: Summarizes how supervisors determine the appropriate action when ending a student’s job in Workday. 
  • Completing Form I-9 in Workday: Provides step-by-step instructions for completing Form I-9 in Workday, with compliance tips and reference resources.

Join us on April 16 from 2pm-3pm for virtual office hours dedicated to student hiring in Workday. Bring your questions, share your screen, and get real-time guidance on posting positions, completing hiring tasks, and navigating the process from start to finish.

 Prefix “Mx.” is Now Available in Workday 

Workday now offers “Mx.” as a selectable prefix, giving employees an additional option when updating their personal information. If you’d like to review or update your name details, simply navigate to Worker Profile > Personal Menu > Names Tab, then choose Edit Legal or Preferred Name.  

 

Delegating Time Approval (and more) 

Delegation enables users to give another person the ability to initiate business processes on their behalf or take actions on their My Tasks items. 

Time approval is among the most frequently delegated tasks. Please refer to the job aid for guidance on establishing a delegation; when prompted by the Business Process dropdown, select “Enter Time.”

To ensure the fastest and most effective support, please submit all Workday questions or issues exclusively through the Support Portal as a ticket. Do not email askhr@wm.edu, workdayproject@wm.edu, or support@wm.edu directly.

Managing requests in multiple systems makes it challenging for our teams to provide timely and accurate assistance, so directing all tickets through the support portal is essential. Thank you for your cooperation!
