Chancellor King, Willie Warhawk engage with local businesses |
UW-Whitewater is partnering with the Universities of Wisconsin for “Mascots on Main,” a social media campaign showcasing the strong relationships between the universities and businesses around the state. Last month, Chancellor Corey King and Willie Warhawk visited eight Whitewater businesses to deliver Universities of Wisconsin window decals and thank them for their support of the university.

This week, Warhawk Dining is hosting On-Site Insight Focus Groups, where you can share your feedback about campus dining and help shape its future. As a thank-you for your time, you'll receive $20 in Dining Dollars and access to free catering at the sessions for participating.

With many scholarship application deadlines coming up at the end of the week, make plans to connect with UW-Whitewater staff to find scholarships — and apply for them — this Monday-Friday, Feb. 17-21, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the first floor of the University Center.

Join us this Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. in Roberta's Art Gallery for a special reception featuring “Neighbors: Near and Far” artists Craig Ede, Dan Gamble, and Charlie Steinbrecher. Discover the stories and inspiration behind the exhibit, then enjoy light refreshments from 7-8 p.m. and connect with others in the community.

| Theatre/dance production starts Friday

UW-Whitewater’s Department of Theatre/Dance will perform “The Maid Turned Mistress/Dido and Aeneas” starting this Friday, Feb. 21, at Barnett Theatre at the Greenhill Center of the Arts. Witness two masterpieces in one night, showcasing the incredible range of human emotion through exquisite music and unforgettable performances.

Ten communication sciences and disorders students served as presenters and one student was an award winner at the 2025 Wisconsin Speech Language Pathology and Audiology Association (WSHA) annual convention.

Today is National Random Acts of Kindness Day. In that spirit, a partnership between UW-Whitewater and the Universities of Wisconsin has allowed schools in Wisconsin and Illinois to subscribe to YouUplift’s Kindness eWall, a positive messaging and display platform.
