For more than 100 years, TCU has forged a lasting and positive relationship with the city of Fort Worth. In fact, strengthening community connections is a pillar of the university’s Strategic Plan. NFL Hall of Famer and TCU Trustee LaDainian Tomlinson ’05 shares his perspective on the direct tie between TCU and its hometown, including the importance of giving back.   

In her new book, The Period Brain, TCU psychology professor Sarah Hill breaks down her research on the biological impacts on how women feel, think and move during their cycle.  

TCU nutritional science professor Anne VanBeber wants us to eat the skin. She explains in 60 seconds why a little bit of peel goes a long way toward digestion, immunity and happiness.

“It’s a unique program...providing interventions where local school districts do not have the resources to do that. We’re preparing [our students] for that transition to go to kindergarten, and the goal for us is for them to be fully included in a regular kindergarten classroom.”

KinderFrogs, celebrating its 25th anniversary, is one of two laboratory schools on Texas Christian University’s campus. KinderFrogs serves primarily children with Down syndrome, providing speech, occupational, physical and music therapies.
