Montefiore Nyack Hospital recently opened its new, highly advanced Interventional Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab, which enables our skilled clinical team to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease and eliminates the need to transport patients to a different hospital for life-saving cardiac interventions. With its state-of-the-art imaging system, our physicians can perform a wide range of minimally invasive interventional procedures, such as pacemaker and stent insertion, removal of blood clots in the lungs, and treatment of heart blockages.
