Parent-Teacher Conference Details
St. Vincent de Paul's Fall 2023 Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held for all grade levels on Thursday, October 26 from 7:45 A.M.-7:30 P.M. Preschool conference times will also be available on the afternoon of Wednesday, October 25 from 12:30-4:00 P.M. Conferences with all teachers require appointment times.
Separate parent-teacher conference online signup pages have been created for Grades PK-2, Grades 3-5, Grades 6-8, Educational Strategists/HAL Teachers (Mrs. Heavey, Mrs. Price, Ms. Bousquet, Mrs. Kaiser, Mrs. Miller, and Mrs. Warneke), and Specials Teachers (Mr. Boone, Mrs. Conry, Mrs. Goodwin, Mrs. Kuhr, Mrs. LeMense, Mrs. McDermott, Mr. Pflaum, Mrs. Singh, and Mrs. Skudlarek). If you have children in any of those grade level groupings or programs and you wish to schedule conferences with one or more of those teachers, please reserve conference times on those signup pages.
A link for signing up for parent-teacher conferences will be available in the Click and Go! section of the school homepage beginning at 8:00 A.M. on Monday, September 25. Online signup for Fall 2023 conferences will close at 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 24. After that time, please contact the school with any registration questions.

2022-23 Yearbooks
LAST CHANCE! We have a limited supply of yearbooks from last year that will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. The 2022-23 yearbooks are $20 each. Payment can be sent to the office, and checks can be made out to the school. Yearbooks will be handed out in the office when payment is received rather than being delivered to homerooms. Once they are gone, there will be no more ordered, so don't wait!

St. Vincent de Paul Feast Day
In honor of St. Vincent de Paul's Feast Day, our school supported our outreach efforts.
Students P-8 collected: boxes of cereal, peanut butter, cans of fruit, plastic jars of jelly, one pound bags of rice and bagged dried beans, and canned chicken
Thank you to all for helping to spread love and kindness to those in need in the Spirit of St. Vincent de Paul and our student ambassadors who moved the food to the pantry.

Volunteers are needed for the health re-screening on Monday, October 16th. Please consider helping with this event! Both morning and afternoon time slots are available. No screening experience is required, but volunteers must have completed Safe Environment training. Please see the Sign-up Genius link below:

New Menu Items!
The October menu includes several new menu items! On the 9th we have Mini French Toast Bites, on the 11th we have Boneless Chicken Wings served with a variety of dipping sauces, and on the 25th we have Pretzel Bites with cheese sauce. We are excited to have the kids try some new popular items!

Upcoming School Mass
Join us Wednesday 10/4 as Ms. Ruelas's Room 31 plans and leads an all-school Mass.
Everyone is welcome to attend Mass and then stay for the SVdP Parents Coffee Club at Heavenly Grounds in the Parish Center. Come to Mass with the students and then stay after and meet new parents or catch up with old friends. Coffee and snacks are provided!

St. Vincent de Paul School is accepting applications for part-time After School Care employees. The position follows the school calendar from August-May. Hours will be 3:00-6:00 P.M. Please contact Mrs. Diane Warneke at warneked@svdpomaha.org.

Registration for St. Vincent PAL league basketball is now open. Grades 3rd-8th girls and boys attending either the five-day school or Religious Education are eligible, along with home-schooled parishioners. We encourage interested 3rd and 4th grade parents to register as early as possible in order for us to get an idea on the number of new players. Tryouts and evaluation sessions for all grades will be held in late October or early November. Each grade will have multiple teams, and all players will be placed on a team. Click here for more information and to complete the online registration form. Registrations are due no later than October 13 with a registration fee of $65.00 per participant. ADULT VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to help the money counters with the Sunday giving envelopes. Adult volunteers are needed on Mondays from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. If you are interested, contact Angela at garretta@svdpomaha.org or call 402-496-7988.
