Interested in watching documentaries about the impacts of societal factors and looking for a way to discuss them? Head on down to Kirkhof and watch the Unnatural Causes documentary followed by a conversation about the question: “is inequality making us sick?” 

If you’re looking for something fun to do tonight, there will be a concert in the Arboretum featuring local artists! Dance along to opener and GV student Reette Thorns and stay for headliner PHABIES. Bring your blanket and your friends to celebrate fall with a concert in the great outdoors.

Volunteer with the community partner of your choice at Drop-In Day of Service! Join Kids Food Basket and Civic Engagement to decorate lunch bags for kids. Got a green thumb? You can also harvest, weed, and plant at the GVSU Sustainable Agriculture Project with New City Neighbors.

Life is “gourd” when you’re painting pumpkins! The Department of Alcohol and Other Drugs is hosting and providing free mocktails, snacks, and candy. Get into the Halloween spirit tomorrow while you sip and paint. 

Getting scared by homework isn’t the only thing that can happen at the library… tomorrow night, there will be ZOMBIES to give you a fright! If you dare, tremble through the library tunnel and test your fear factor at the Haunted Library. 

You know what time it is! The Homecoming Lip Sync Battle is finally here and this year's theme is icons and there is a first place prize of $500! Don’t forget to show up and show out at the pep rally before the battle begins.

Support a peer that represents what it means to be a Laker! The elected Homecoming Royal receives a $500 academic scholarship and will be recognized at the Homecoming Football game. Make sure to hustle and get your vote in before Monday! 

Looking for a new barber? You’re in luck, because Cuts at the Clock with CJ the Barber, who specializes in black hair types, is BACK. This is a recurring event on Mondays and Tuesdays until the end of the semester. Be sure to complete the four required steps to get your discounted cut. Don’t let this opportunity fade away!
