SHINY GYM FLOORS: ANOTHER BIG THANK YOU TO OUR COMMUNITY

PRIDE thanks Mr. Amos, Pablo and Rosario Hernandez, and their son, 6th grader, Anthony Hernandez for working a long and hard 13-plus hours to bring our gym back to sparkling life right before school let out for winter break. Thank you also to the following parents and students who stopped by to lend a hand: Sarah Goldsmith, Jeff and Max Konecke, and Aucileia Rosa and family.

MINECRAFT EDUCATION ESPORTS COMPETITION

In partnership with Microsoft, LAUSD is launching a two-level esports competition with Minecraft Education, and Ms. Takashima, Revere's LAUSD Climate Literacy Educator, would like to help students learn more about it (Deadline: Feb. 2nd). Click here for more information.

SAVE THE DATE: CAMPUS CLEANUP DAY

Save the Date for Campus Cleanup Day on Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join Revere families and help clean up the campus of Revere for a few hours after you drop off your e-waste in the horseshoe driveway at the front of school.

CHAPERONES NEEDED FOR JANUARY FIELD TRIPS

Parent Volunteers are needed for several upcoming field trips in January for the 7th and 8th grade math classes. Please consider vounteering! All volunteers must apply and be approved through the LAUSD portal. More information on the application process can be found here. Submit your application now, or if already approved contact Ms. Gualano to let her know you are interested at gabriela.gualano@lausd.net.

LEARN MORE ABOUT WELLNESS WEDNESDAYS

Ms. Riley, Revere's Psychiatric Social Worker, offers a weekly webinar to all Homeroom teachers called Wellness Wednesday. Each Wednesday, Ms. Riley presents a different topic during Homeroom via Zoom webinar, ranging from education about mental health to ways to practice positive coping skills. Previous topics have included how to make new friends, mindfulness, gratitude, stretching, drug prevention, how to cope with the holiday blues, and more. Click here for more information.
