Campus Protocols on Inclement Weather |
It’s hard to believe, but winter weather is coming and we want to make sure our campus community is prepared and safe. As a residential college, CC never completely closes, even in severe weather. Preparing for winter weather can reduce unnecessary risks while meeting the needs of our students. CC has a severe weather policy to guide attendance and expectations in these situations. If you need to stay home for a non-CC weather closure that affects your dependent(s), please speak to your supervisor about using sick leave or vacation leave for this purpose.

New Applicant Tracking System
PageUp is live! In addition to being used for faculty postings and applications, it is now being used for requisitions (formerly SPAFs) for staff postings. HR is developing user guides to share with search teams and hiring managers. You can find those guides and more on our Hiring Resources page. You can also access our internal job board by visiting the CC Employment Portal.

The October Performance Conversation Cycle is open now through Friday, Nov. 8. If you have time off scheduled in October, plan ahead by blocking some time on your calendar now to complete your self-review, any manager reviews, and performance conversation meetings. For other updates on the Feedback Practices process, review our Feedback Practices FAQ website.

Direct Supervisor Feedback
A new process is launching with the October 2024 Performance Conversation cycle, allowing employees to give feedback about their experience working with their direct supervisor. At CC we believe that everyone has the potential to grow, and feedback is a key tool which helps us improve and be recognized - both individually and as a community. The survey will be open through Friday, Nov. 8 and can be accessed via this anonymous link. Due to the size of our staff community, and the reporting structure at CC, anonymized feedback can be challenging. To encourage participation and honest responses, survey results will only be shared with the Cabinet member overseeing the division, and only if at least three responses are received.
