News from the Field
National Science Foundation Update
The NSF has announced a number of updates over the last several months. Most directorates have been reorganized with newly created sections, while information is still being updated on the NSF website. Solicitations will also be updated, so those planning to submit a proposal should first review the updated organization of their target directorate and program. Many programs now have a general email address, rather than listing specific program officers, so PIs are encouraged to use the general address when reaching out with questions about proposal development.
PIs also now have to complete research security training within 12 months prior to submitting a proposal. Please reach out to OSP (osp@bucknell.edu) for information on completing the one-hour online module that can satisfy the new federal requirement.
