Exam Info - Casper Assesment 2024-25 Cycle Updates

Casper & Duet are assessments that give applicants the opportunity for programs to get to know them better, earlier on in the admissions process to stand out from the crowd, by demonstrating their unique competencies and attributes that showcase who they are, beyond their grades:
Casper – an open-response, situational judgment test that evaluates aspects of applicants’ social intelligence and professionalism such as ethics, empathy, problem-solving and collaboration.

Duet – a value-alignment assessment for select programs only that compares what applicants value most in a program to what the programs have to offer.
2024/25 Casper test price:
The price to take Casper for most US health professions applicants is $50 plus $16 for each program they send their scores to

For learners applying to US medicine programs, the fee is $85, which includes 7 score distributions. Applicants will pay $18 for each additional program they send their scores to

Applicants who have been approved for a Fee Assistance Program will have their fee waived if they provide proof of approval when reserving their test (e.g. AAMC, CASPA)
Applicant Webinar: February 27, 2024
On February 27 at 1:00 pm EST, we will host a webinar for applicants, so they can learn the essentials of the Casper test, including:
  • What it is and how it works
  • Why programs require or recommend Casper
  • Tips to set them up for a successful testing experience
Applicants can register here for the webinar. A recording will be available for students to review at takecasper.com, after the webinar is over.
