Dear Campus Community,

As the academic year comes to a close, the Collaborative for Community Engagement (CCE) would like to take a moment to celebrate the ecosystem of community engagement across the College. Below, we recognize our annual Community Engagement Recognition Night (CERN) awardees; highlight campus statistics that speak to the breadth and depth of community engagement at CC; applaud our graduating seniors, who are carrying their commitments forward into new chapters; and share a video featuring members of our community reflecting on what gives them hope.

In a moment marked by so much uncertainty and change, it can be easy to keep moving without looking up, to stay focused on how much remains to be done, or to feel disheartened by the distance still to travel. But pausing to celebrate the good work happening around us is not a way of looking away from what is hard, but rather how we find the strength to keep facing it. When we name what has been built, recognize the people behind that work, and make progress visible, we remind ourselves and one another that change is possible, and that we are part of making it happen. We share these highlights not as a self-congratulatory closing, but as a deliberate act of renewal — so that we can carry what we have built into what comes next.
