Let us know what kinds of small groups you're interested in |
Recognizing that being in community is an important part of our life together at St. B's, we are making plans to launch new small groups in the fall.
So that we can best meet the needs of our people, would you take 5 minutes to fill out this survey letting us know of your general interest in small groups no later than Monday, July 30. We will plan to have formal sign-ups in September. If you have any questions about small groups or would like to talk more, please feel free to reach out to Rev. Heather.

Dear Church,
As I shared in church on Sunday, our Listening Campaign has officially come to a close. We are deeply grateful to the more than 100 parishioners who participated—and to those who wanted to but couldn’t attend. Over the course of 20 unique sessions, we had rich and meaningful conversations that revealed clear themes, creative ideas, and a shared love for our St. B’s community.
Personally, I’ve come away with a much deeper understanding of who we are as a parish, and I’m thankful for the honesty, insight, and care you all offered. Our vestry is now engaging in intentional reflection and conversation about what we’ve heard. With guidance from several seasoned leaders, we’re also beginning to explore what it would look like to live more fully into our shared vision.
A special thank you to Rose Wynne Brooks and Nancy Hyer for their help in analyzing all the feedback we received. I look forward to sharing the full results with you between services on Sunday, August 24. In the meantime, please keep our leadership—and all that God has in store for us—in your prayers.
– Fr. Josh

| Can you help out on Sundays? |
Imagine sparking a child's faith journey! We need a few friendly faces to help chaperone during our children's homily each Sunday in the summer (this takes place during the sermon). Volunteer as a "Homily Helper" to experience the unforgettable wonder and delightful wisdom of our youngest members. Even just one Sunday makes a huge difference, and we promise it's a lot of fun! No experience necessary, just a willingness to share a little time and love. Click here to sign up and make a lasting impact.

| Calling Singers and Instrumentalists |
The St. B's Music Ministry is recruiting, and summer is a great time to explore getting involved. If you might like to join our Chamber Singers or come out for a seasonal choir opportunity next season, we'd love to hear from you. Also, we are always recruiting new singers and musicians for our Sunday music teams – band instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keys) especially, but we are interested in any instrument you may play! Please email Amy Wirdzek at with any questions or to express interest. We'd love to talk to you about joining our music community!

O Lord, God of life, as you care for all creation, give us your peace. May our security come not from weapons, but from respect. May our strength come not from violence, but from love. May our own wealth come not from money, but from sharing. May our path be not one of ambition, but of justice. May our victory not be one of revenge, but of forgiveness. Unarmed and confident, help us to defend the dignity of all creation. Sharing today and always the bread of solidarity and peace. Amen.
