As we close out the 2024-2025 school year, we are reflecting both on the triumphs of the past two semesters and looking ahead with excitement at what’s to come.
The biggest triumph is our more than 3,000 Lakers who are completing their studies and graduating! If you are the parent or supporter of one of these soon-to-be grads, congratulations! We’re thrilled to honor the achievements of our newest alumni and invite you to check out our commencement website for all the details around this day, so you all can enjoy this milestone stress-free.
While we celebrate our grads, we’re simultaneously looking ahead to the 2025-2026 academic year. As part of our planning, we remain committed to maximizing the value we provide you and your learner. This commitment is why later this month, we will be one of the first universities in the state to announce our fall semester tuition and room and board rates to assist you and your learner in preparing.
Another way we provide value is through the real-world experiences that are part of a Grand Valley education, which enables students to develop skills and make connections that set them up for professional success. Currently, around 75% of our students participate in one of these experiences, which can include co-ops, internships, applied research and much more, and we are doubling down to make them even more accessible.
And whether your student is a new grad or a returning student, our Career Center is a valuable resource to help your student prepare for the future. The Career Center team is dedicated to helping students find meaningful opportunities, whether they are graduates or are still working towards their degree, and can help with every step in those journeys, including resume building and interview preparation.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us build a strong, caring community that allows our students to pursue their dreams and serve our community.
