Research Integrity
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) extramural NEXUS announced the "Final NIH Scientific Integrity Policy" in a post by Dr. Lyric Jorgenson, NIH Associate Director for Science Policy; Dr. Nina Schor, NIH Deputy Director for Intramural Research; Dr. Michael Lauer, NIH Deputy Director for Extramural Research and Dr. Alfred Johnson, NIH Deputy Director for Management.

Rigor and Reproducibility
The NIH extramural NEXUS shared a post by Dr. Douglas M. Sheeley where he announced that the NIH Office of Strategic Coordination (OSC) 'launched the new Replication to Enhance Research Impact Initiative (Replication Initiative), a pilot approach to advance rigor and transparency in biomedical research by supporting the direct third-party replication of NIH-funded studies'.

Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Dr. Mike Lauer's extramural NEXUS post on 'Using Artificial Intelligence and Other Digital Technologies to Enhance Grant Management Operations' shared information including 'Where does your application go...", "Looking at those applications in more detail..." and "Better understanding the research we fund....".

Clinical Research
Clinical researchers are invited to listen to the 'NIH All About Grants Podcast: Allowable Costs for Clinical Research Participation' episode with Dr. Rebecca Favor, senior inclusion specialist, and Mr. Priyanga Tuovinen, senior grants policy analyst, explains several items including 'what costs may be appropriate for clinical research, relationship to inclusion of research participants, developing budgets, unintended costs and more'.

Dr. Mike Lauer's extramural NEXUS post reminds the research community about the 'proper security practices for eRA' and provides important reminders for protecting grant information.
