MAGNIFY | Alumni Tailgate

Floyd School of Medicine Alumni and Staff gather at the Alumni Tailgate Mighty Sound of the Southeast band member shows his spirit during their performance
The Floyd School of Medicine welcomed nearly 50 alumni and family members to its annual Alumni Tailgate on Saturday, October 24, where attendees had an opportunity to meet Dean Dwyer during the pregame festivities.

Hosted in partnership with the USC Alumni Association and Gamecock Club, the complimentary gathering offered a spirited Gamecock experience, including a BBQ lunch, an up-close view of Gamecock Walk, and a performance by the Mighty Sound of the Southeast just steps from Williams-Brice Stadium. Against the backdrop of the South Carolina State Fair, the weekend showcased the best of Columbia and culminated in the Gamecocks' thrilling 27-24 victory over Tennessee.

The school hopes to continue the tradition in future years by hosting its Alumni Tailgate each October while the fair is in town.
